What a delight to be told you are student of the month! Thank you Stacey, Sherri, and EK, it is very much your hard work and love that makes my practice so much more wonderful. I am very grateful to be here.
Being that I am the student of the month of January, in this honorable place I'd like to share on the concept of "The New Years Resolution". Every year we do the same thing. We set our "Resolution" in place and we decide that this is the year I will do this…this is the year that I will achieve that, and what happens? Time and time again we have all the best intentions but some how get separated from them down the resolution road. Is it because we look at this road as too far to traverse? Is it because we decide it's just too hard? Or maybe it's because we sabotage what we truly deserve because we some how don't really believe we deserve it?
Well what ever the reason, we do deserve all that we desire! Maybe the resolution road really isn't a long hard road at all. Maybe it is a moment by moment observation and recognition of gratitude. Maybe it's reminding ourselves we are loved, lovable, and loving. Maybe it has nothing to do with a new year but a New Moment.
My New Years wish is that we may all find within ourselves the part of us that is deserving, may we see it in each other and honor the reflection another gives, and most of all, may we be gentle with ourselves in love when we can't seem to look beyond the illusions before us. I am humbly honored to be with you all in this sacred place. Each and every one of you gives me so much. Thank you!
