Why Yoga: Continually try to master the mind and spirit, hit a wall, body was not up to SPEC….. YOGA is a CURE for stuff. Cure: Latin; cura, old latin; coura 1. A spiritual charge which results in the elimination of disease, distress, evil, etc; the use of music, exercise, natural ingredients/ surroundings etc. to enhance the state of Body and Mind(YOGA) 2. A place of atmosphere which gives a feeling of rest and relaxation.

Why Bikram: Tried other Yoga styles ~ way too hard to get benefit from poses when each class is different and no reason for progression of the yoga, just show up and try this it's good for you….. too many pulled muscles… too much questioning where to be in the posture… plus eye read too many books; we need routine and progression for ---depth---..(that goes for all of life) ~ Eye think percentages for benefits go way up when progression and routine are involved. If eye am gonna take time to sweat….. eye want the most benefit from each drop…

First Class: Thought, "What am eye thinking, what am eye doing here", ready to quit after half moon pose…. Went off and on for 7 months, about 4 times a week, methinks eye really need to keep in shape, right?? What a struggle to contemplate hot room, washing sweaty clothes, time, and working at something else… should eye skip tonight?? ~ Eye should be able to think me into shape….. So eye skip, then, eye skip another, then started to think about dues…. didn't' go for 9 months… Made lots and lots and lots of good excuses for not going, busy, travel, building a new business…. Just excuses and lazy reasons to get extra time sitting on booty…

BUT eye knew this stuff could help me do anything eye want in life. Union (yoga), mind, body, spirit, soul…. Eye really don't want to hold back life or have questions when that someone taps you on the shoulder and tells you it is your time… Right!?! What do eye have to show if eye don't live to my fullest - portfolio of CSI, CNN, ESPN or other stuff that is about others taking action, living life… (never liked TV much anyway)…

It is the commitment to self that is needed to see outside world with out so many of our own learned hallucinations. So eye re–committed. BUT eye promised me-self to expect nothing. Just go to relax and not pay attention to heat-crazy, pushy instructors screaming at me to push and squeeze so much. After all eye sweat like pig in Arizona, and it is MY YOGA, right? Eye am just going to participate, to make it regular part of life, like drinking water. Eye need full nourishment for body, breath and mind. This is the fourth month back. Four months of no expectation and eye can't practice enough, try to make it everyday eye can. It is the least eye can do for me, family, and people I share life with…. (so – sci – itty) ~ do my part to make this place better….

NOW:::: eye Love the environment created by the instructors. Relaxed yet enough tension to go deep into self… (inner-space is still largely unexplored, eye try to be like Neil Armstrong of dark matter).. Bikram Grapevine instructors keep helping everyone get a full benefit of yoga, exactly what this stuff is suppose to be….. . if you let it…... Funny, the second eye quit fighting everything works… well, eye still fight sometimes, but it is just cycles of dealing with body and ego.

The Real (deeper) reason eye do Bikram Yoga: It's all about focused energy….

Energy is: 1. the capacity for vigorous activity. 2. The ability to act, lead others, effect or influence. 3.Usable power." ~Webster's ~ (this feller knows things about words)

Patterns of energy underlie all Creation, from the chromatic musical scale to the lineage patterns of male bees. Learning how to direct energy (YOGA), we are coming close to the secrets of all being.
When we direct and allow energy to flow through us, through breath, alignment, mantra, and melody we access amazing healing and creative powers. Directive energy is the very basis of Creation and the creative platform for us to heal and alter both our inner and outer worlds.

The Energy within all of us is the ultimate factor of Dreaming into Reality the Existence we choose to Live!
The more we are True to ourselves by following our Passions and Dreams the more Energy we will have collectively and individually. (help yourself help the world) Our impact is much larger than we give ourselves credit for…..
We are all students, teachers, and guides! We all have a role to Play! We all have something to offer! Deep inside ~ when we live full, we always know what to do next…"JUST DO IT" – Like NIKE….

When we present our gifts of knowledge and services to one another… We begin to Really Explore Our World.
When we offer our best "self" to our communion (others/society) we will discover that the abundance we all so rightfully deserve is right before our eyes!

PLUS: Eye have lost 25 lbs; have noticeable healing in 3 herniated disks – Bikram Yoga Grapevine is responsible for all that!!! ~~~ (my shameless sales plug for Stacy : > )

~Do not be too moral. You may cheat yourself out of much life. Aim above morality. Be not simply good; be good for something. ~Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each ~Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it. ~Do not be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. ~Give all to love; obey thy heart. Henry David Thoreau

~ Peace3 ~
