Being a student of the month is really an honor! Thank you very much for the recognition!! I could not sleep for a couple of nights (just kidding).
I am not an athlete and do not have any main injuries. However, practicing Bikram yoga also can change a regular person's life (like me). The first goal that made me want to practice yoga was just to lose a couple of pounds. And I did it!! After months passed by, I have noticed that not only have I lost a couple of pounds, but my body and my mind changed, too. Now my point of view about practicing Bikram Yoga is not the same any more. The change is not just happening in the yoga room - it is not just about being more flexible and stronger, but it also helps me handle things more calmly and peacefully outside the room.
Thanks again to all of the teachers and students (veterans and new). You are part of this challenge.
... Actually, everything has to have both pros and cons. To me, there are some cons to doing Bikram Yoga: 1. You might smell after class. 2. More laundry to do. 3. Ladies - your make up might wash out!
