The practice of Yoga is not new to me. In 1972 I practiced in front of a 9 inch black and white TV while being instructed by Lilias Folan on PBS. I was practicing at a local studio when my best friend began singing the praises of Stacey, all the instructors, and Bikram Yoga Grapevine studio. She told me that just one trip to the studio would change my life. She was right.
Although the story of how Stacey began this studio has not yet been revealed to me, I recognize and admire her wisdom, strength, commitment, and especially her courage in opening this studio. The professionalism, caring demeanor, and patience of this group of instructors is stunning. Every exceptional group has an exceptional leader, and Stacey is just that. Every day we benefit from Stacey's quiet spirit of caring and her attention to detail.
All of the instructors are excellent and each unique. Yet each of them is the same in their caring and patience. My thanks to Stacey, Sherri, Jorina, Sami, LaDonna, Carla, and Jay for being so careful and precise with Bikram's class. It is these instructors who bring us the benefits of his knowledge and understanding. They are the caretakers of his word, and they teach it exceptionally. Thank you.
I have read that men often come to Yoga seeking a challenge, and women come for refuge. I came to Bikram Yoga Grapevine seeking both, and I found both. Thank You.
