Complete Body Workout
I tried Bikram Yoga for the first time about a year ago. Before moving to Keller, I took classes at several schools in the Atlanta area and quickly realized that Bikram was the best exercise program to reach my goals and to fit my schedule.

With Yoga I found that I can strengthen AND stretch my entire body in one workout. Weightlifting had always led me to stiffness and muscle strain - and there never seemed to be enough time to work out every body part. Bikram Yoga even hits the lower back and core muscles I've always neglected! There is also a great cardio-vascular component in Bikram, so you get strengthening, stretching, and cardio in one great workout.

As a singer and performer, yoga has given me greater stamina and breath control. It has increased my lung capacity and enhanced my ability to relax while performing. There is a tendency for singers to tense up and strain when they sing, and yoga has consistently helped me avoid these problems.

Taking Bikram Yoga three times a week has alleviated neck and shoulder injuries, leg stiffness from distance running, and the occasional extra calories. I can also stand the Texas heat much more comfortably - after class, 90 degrees feels like a cool mountain breeze!

Finally, Bikram Yoga has introduced me to a wonderful community of people. And Bikram Grapevine is the best school I've attended. The instructors have a spirit and warmth that I have not found anywhere else. You go, girls!
